I have an extensive background in news and feature writing, news releases and advertorials -- all about agriculture. 

I am editor of FCC Express, a publication of Farm Credit Canada. The weekly email newsletter covers agricultural business issues across the country.

I am editor of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada's Pest Management newsletter, featuring articles from staff across the country and a feature story.

I am associate editor on Farm Credit Canada's bi-monthly magazine, AgriSuccess, working with editor Kevin Hursh.

In October 2008, we received the gold prize in the General Periodical category from the Canadian Farm Writers' Federation. This followed two consecutive bronze prizes in the same category in 2006 and 2007.

I am also the 2005 and 2006 winner, along with Kevin, of the bronze Henry Heald Award for World Wide Web Site, awarded by the Canadian Farm Writers' Federation.
